(Unfinished) Colossal Folder Adventure
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
This is an idea I had a few months ago : making a game without any software or programming, just with basic folders and files (text files, pictures...). I have begun to write a story about a cave, as exploring the folders is relatable to enter a cave - you don't know its size and what you will find in it, and you enter rooms and tunnels.
But, without any particular reason, I never finished writing it. Today I am not really motivated enough to finish everything, but I think that this can still be interesting in this state - because it's the process of making the game with folders that interested me, over the story.
I hope that some people who would like to make games but don't know how to program will find this example useful and that it will prove them you can make something without advanced skills... But just by working with what you already know :)
Have a nice play !

It's so Creative!! even though its short I really liked the concept and the story itself is good. I really like it!

Heyy.. so its been a while since I've used itch.io lol sorry..
if I remember correctly I was at school (ive graduated since 💀) and browsed some itch games from the indie section and ran into your game and it looked so cute and Interesting that then I saw that for every purchase you donate community copies I just knew that I had to buy! again, sorry for the late response hopefully it still helps and thanks again for making the game! ❤️
